Michelle conducted a one-day governance workshop for the Local Decision Making Body (LDMB), recently in Toowoomba, to help consolidate some of their future planning and representation.

The LDMB group was selected for their past and ongoing demonstration of striving for the betterment of the community and region.  While the group doesn’t represent Traditional Owners, the work closely with all stakeholders in the community.  The LDMB has become an important coordination hub for critical conversations and future opportunities.

The group is well connected, and each member has particular knowledge and expert skills on issues affecting the Toowoomba community, and each member taking something new away from the day.  Michelle’s capability in balancing both the corporate and cultural context of governance was one of the highights from the day.
