A recognised leadership motivator, Michelle has more than 20 years’ experience developing leadership curriculum, program design and delivering training outcomes. An accredited facilitator, she has worked across the full leadership spectrum, mentoring and guiding agents of change to enhance leadership capabilities across metropolitan, regional and remote Australia.  Her continued work with the Australian Rural Leadership Foundation helps a broad range of participants, including Indigenous Australians. 

Michelle’s governance expertise is well regarded and acknowledged with board roles in not-for-profit’s, non- government-organisations and government. Michelle has a strong background in governance research, published articles, governance training and curriculum development. This provides organisations and communities with support to navigate governance compliance requirements and ensuring cultural knowledge and practices enhance excellence.

Michelle is an accomplished presenter, facilitator, orator and engager of audiences. Through humour, enthusiasm and self-deprecation she invites active participation in forums, workshops, and conferences. She has that unique capacity to read a room and keep people engaged and motivated. This capability has provided Michelle opportunities to present keynote addresses at national and international forums discussing a wide range of topics such as gender equality, leadership, cultural governance and politics. 

She has been involved in Indigenous affairs for over 25 year and knows what it takes to engage with remote and regional communities. She is a catalyst for building the foundations of community organisations and corporations resulting in the realisation of strategic projects.

Well regarded for her capacity to facilitate forums, workshops and conferences of various sizes and cohorts across the nation, Michelle is often engaged as a Key Note speaker. Using a unique blend of enthusiasm, wit, personal experience and expert knowledge, she possesses an excellent ability to read the group and engage contribution and participation from her audience.
