We only retain collected information for as long as necessary to provide you with your requested service. What data we store, we’ll protect within commercially acceptable means to prevent loss and theft, as well as unauthorised access, disclosure, copying, use or modification.
We don’t share any personally identifying information publicly or with third-parties, except when required to by law.

Terms and Conditions
Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Deshong Consulting. By accessing our website, https://deshongconsulting.com.au, or engaging us for consulting, facilitation, workshops, or event management services, you agree to the following terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use our website or services.
Bookings and payment
A booking is confirmed once we’ve agreed on scope and you’ve accepted our quote or proposal in writing. Payment terms (deposits, invoicing schedule, due dates) will be set out in that agreement. Late payments may affect the delivery timeline of your project.
Cancellations and changes
We understand plans change. If you need to cancel or reschedule a workshop, session, or event, please let us know as early as possible. Cancellations made with limited notice may still incur a fee to cover preparation and hold costs.
If the client cancels:
| Notice Period | Cancellation Fee |
| More than 30 days before delivery | Deposit retained |
| 15–30 days before delivery | 50% of total fee |
| 14 days or less before delivery | 100% of total fee |
If for any reason Deshong Consulting needs to reschedule we’ll work with the client to find a fair outcome.
Intellectual property
All workshop content, facilitator guides, presentations, frameworks, and materials we develop remain the intellectual property of Deshong Consulting unless otherwise agreed in writing. Clients may use materials provided to them for their own internal purposes, but may not reproduce, resell, or adapt our content for external delivery without our written permission. This includes any cultural content, frameworks, or ways of knowing shared as part of our services — these carry cultural authority and are not to be used outside the context in which they were shared.
Confidentiality
Anything shared with us in the course of a project — organisational information, staff feedback, sensitive discussions — is treated as confidential and won’t be shared outside our team without your consent, except where required by law.
Limitation of liability
We deliver our services with care, professionalism, and to a high standard. However, to the extent permitted by law, Deshong Consulting isn’t liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of our services or website. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under Australian Consumer Law that can’t be excluded.
Respect and cultural safety
We ask that all clients and participants engage with our workshops and services in a spirit of respect and openness. We’re committed to culturally safe delivery, and expect the same courtesy in return from those we work with.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in how we operate. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
